In the competitive smartwatch market, Huawei has stepped up its game by launching the Huawei Watch Ultimate, designed specifically for extreme sports enthusiasts. This cutting-edge device is poised to give the Apple Watch Ultra a run for its money, boasting impressive features such as underwater capabilities, a sapphire crystal display, and a ceramic bezel to prevent scratches.

Built to withstand the harshest environments, the Huawei Watch Ultimate’s zirconium construction is 4.5 times stronger than stainless steel or titanium. The watch features a zirconium front cover, a ceramic back cover, a sapphire crystal display, and a ceramic bezel. With dual IP68 certification, it is water-resistant up to 10 ATM and can tolerate temperatures as low as -20°C and as high as 45°C. The 1.5-inch circular LTPO AMOLED touchscreen display has a 466 x 466-pixel resolution and a pixel density of 311 ppi.

The Huawei Watch Ultimate sports a 530mAh battery, offering up to 14 days of regular use or eight days of intense use, depending on the features and usage frequency. It supports wireless charging, with the charger included in the box, and requires only 60 minutes to reach a full charge.

Two models of the watch are available: the Ultimate Voyage Blue with a titanium strap and blue bezel, and the Ultimate Expedition Black edition with a black finish and a hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) strap. This material is highly resistant and flexible. The launch date is set for April 3rd, with the price yet to be announced.

In addition to its exceptional build quality, the Huawei Watch Ultimate offers extensive functionality. With four diving modes and the ability to withstand depths of up to 100 meters, it outperforms the Apple Watch Ultra’s 40-meter limit. It also features a customized night mode, electrocardiogram capabilities, and pulse-based blood pressure detection.

The Huawei Watch Ultimate is compatible with both iOS and Android devices, making it a versatile choice for extreme sports enthusiasts seeking a powerful and durable smartwatch alternative to the Apple Watch Ultra.
